  2. With the changing of the messaging system I don't have an exact way to do this now, but we'll need something to be able to send messages quickly to one another. I was thinking something like, when you click or hover on another citizen's avatar somewhere in the site, a small icon comes up, 1 click and you can already write your message in a floating modal, another click and it's sent. On the receiving end -if we are to merge with Invision anyway-, the message could be sent straight to the Invision api, and a feedback loop is needed too so you get notified in-game, thus if you have a new message on Invision, we could have a mail icon popping up in the top nav bar, with a small number indicating the unread messages. ps. actually we could merge the trade feature with this quick messaging later, so you could not only send a simple message to one another, but assets/currency as well. I imagine a lotro style system, you could simply drag and drop assets into the message itself. (then the trade page could be dropped too).

At the last elections we noticed some weird things, first I wasn't able to run for congress, it said we don't have enough people in Central Hungary. 2 days before the election it finally let me run for congress. Then the next thing came with the election itself, Lippy had 2 votes, I had one, then @Dirty Harryvoted for me. Due to the more political xp I have, I got into lead. After the election though the report says Lippy got elected with 1 vote. And another one related to this, is that it seems like if the running congress were stuck for @Dirty Harry, he don't even remember running at the last two elections, still he is. Needs further investigation.
  5. I'd like to see the events module more interactive, for first step we could put a link or some kind of pointer to the battle notifications, clicking on it would show the battle stats. Perhaps it could be an inline icon or next to the event, maybe a button. I strongly think that ajax should be used, there is no point to re-code it again later. I was thinking, perhaps a new box could open pushing down everything else of the events module row (in this case the quick actions/consumables/citizen) Clicking anywhere else on the page would close the new panel and put back everything to normal

    Possible congress bug

    When trying to run for congress in CH, it says: Though @Dirty Harry is already running there. Not sure if the pop is less now or something else, need to check. Update: today I was able to run for congress with no problem. Needs further investigation at next elections.
  8. After filling a purchase order on the new company manager tab, the user is presented with a broken page. Confirmed that the sale goes through correctly, its just the post-sale page is broken.
  9. When the game is finally ready for it's 2.0 re-launch, a totally fresh game world will be available. Although we're calling it a reset, the current world would continue to exist as a 'legacy' server for those who wish to continue playing, however the legacy server will not recieve any further updates or new players. Discussions regarding recognition for players who've helped shape the first decade of vNations will be held when a more concrete date can be established (ie sometime mid 2021, at the earliest).

  11. This will be a long term project to implement the game features into the website, allowing the game and community features to fully co-exist and interact.
  12. This industry was partially implemented into the economics module, but currently does not function. Notes on its intended functionality have unfortunately been lost, so its back to the planning room for the moment.
  13. Currently, Presidential election results must be manually processed, which can cause sometimes significant delays between polls ending, and the new President taking office.
  14. We will be migrating the game and website to a new, faster server with our current host. Both game and website will be locked at the start of the maintenance window, and will be unavailable until the migration is complete. There is no ETA for completion of the migration - although the physical transfer should be quick as we're simply moving to a faster machine in the current data center, there are often unforseen issues getting things up and running on a new machine. On the day I will provide updates via discord where necessary.

Added a new Purchase Orders tab to the Company Manager. This tab shows purchase orders for products your active company sells. Bug Fixes Fixed UI issues with the Citizen Stats widget (top-right of each game page). You may need to clear your browser cache to see the changes. If you've cleared your cache and are still seeing broken bars, scrollbar, or other UI issues, please provide a screenshot and let us know the browser you use, and your screen resolution. Fixed inconsistent database collation, which could cause error messages in some obscure circumstances. Fixed tabs not working on citizen profiles and party page. Fixed incorrect error message shown when visiting the Gym with insufficient AP to workout. Fixed Nation -> Diplomacy always showing treaties held by your citizens nation, even when viewing foreign nations. View full release

    Action Points

    The new Action Points system will give players more control over their character's development. Instead of simply performing every action once a day, you will earn Action Points (AP) every few minutes. Each action will reduce your AP by a set amount, and can be performed any number of times.
  23. No need for another ticket 🙂 Most likely the same bug is affecting both places, so both should get fixed at the same time. You should be able to click into the ticket and add a new reply (though I've only used this system from the "admin" side so I'm not 100% sure). And it's meant to send me an email for every new ticket but doesn't seem to be, I'll need to fix that too lol
  24. thanks, btw there is a helpdesk ticket about something else it's not urgent but i don't see how i can edit it and add that the same issue is with the welcome message, I don't want to write another one 😆 I apologize for the spam, (I have no idea if you are getting messages for a new ticket in the helpdesk) 😀
  25. There seems to be an issue with these progressbars and Firefox at the moment. Not really sure why when they work perfectly in Chrome (sizing issues should even be fixed now). We're still working on it though. Edit: Looks like we found the problem, it should now be working in all browsers/screen resolution. Might need to clear browser cache if you're still seeing issues
